this season has made me glad i stuck it out. the last episode is up there as one of the best in the series. if the brief interaction between carol and rick as carol realized lori wasn't with them had happened last season, no way would it have had the same emotional impact. they've done a good job in bringing me around to not hating most everyone on the show.
andrea is my most hated one at this point. looking forward to the inevitable darryl/merle confrontation, but i'm not getting my hopes up it will be in the next episode before the break; i'll not be surprised if the last scene next week is them two seeing each other for the first time.

maggie this episode...
I agree. This season has really stepped up the quality of the show. It still has its moments, but it mostly much better than last season.

Pretty much. He lost his shit, imagined the calls, snapped out of it when imaginary Lori told him to and rejoined the group. Sure it was fast but there are other things to tend to with the Gov around.

j/k, that was a great episode. At first I thought we getting a Lost-esque look into another party trying to survive, but everything tied in really well and the action sequences were solid. They found a good way to humanize the Guv-na after last weeks episode and I did sympathize with him and his daughter. The only thing I didn't like was the use of the word "terrorist" as it contains such a politically charged meaning in modern times (it was huge distraction in Battlestar to call Gaius a terrorist and led to that weird season). The metaphor of Woodbury for post-9/11 America was obvious enough already, no need to beat us over the head with it.
