So is this scary or not so much? I'm trying to get my wife to watch it. A couple years ago I tricked her into going to see silent hill with me and she was terrified and now she doesn't trust me. What is it comparable to?

im trying to make my gf watch it also
I got my wife to watch the premiere, and she said she'd keep watching it (she often tells me "oh, you go ahead," which is code for "no way in hell"). I think the character side of things will keep her hooked (the comic is very character driven as well - in fact, the introduction by the author starts "I'm not trying to scare anybody. If that happens as a result of reading this comic that's great, but really...that's not what this book is about. What you now hold in your hands is the most serious piece of work I've done so far in my career. I'm the guy that created Battle Pope; I hope you guys realize what a stretch this is for me." It goes on, but I don't want to bore you guys...).

I thought the pilot was excellent. I was expecting a lot and I was not disappointed. I can see why Season two was picked up before episode one even aired.
Is the black dudes wife different? She didn't look as infected as the other zombies.

Really enjoyed this. The wife couldn't handle it though.
i pretty much forced mine to watch it. she complained a lot and was pretty mad the first 20 mins and i guilted her into watching the rest and she ended up getting into it and enjoying it.

She's able to turn a doorknob. So I guess that puts her in the "advanced" class.

My guess is that either #1, she was just very recently turned, or #2, they didn't overdo the makeup so you could recognize her from the photo.

She's probably just a freshman zombie. Get it? "Fresh"?

the scene with the legless zombie dragging herself across the field was kind of sad. i think its the first time i've had any sympathy for a zombie. did i mention these are the best looking zombies ever filmed?
