That was a right-pretty speech, sir. But I ask you, what is a contract? Webster's defines it as an agreement under the law which is unbreakable... Which is unbreakable!

My last moment with my grandmother was Simpsons-related. And this is as good of a thread as any to write about it. She had had a heart attack and was in ICU. It soon became obvious that she was not going to make it much longer. Various uncles, aunts and cousins along with my immediate family basically held an around the clock vigil until she passed. I was in her room along with a couple family members. Normally they limit the number of people in ICU but it just so happened that she was the only person in the unit at the time. That and the fact that she was in her dying days the hospital relaxed their rules for us. The last time I saw her alive she was lying there asleep, not making a sound. If it wasn't for the lights & beeps on the machines she was hooked up to you might have believed she had already died. One of my cousins said, or did, something stupid. I wish I could remember what exactly. So I made that "ha-ha" laugh that Nelson does from time to time. On some level my grandmother must of heard me because she did the same thing. Obviously much groggier and a lower pitch but it was the same sound. I repeated the "ha-ha" again and she answered back. We repeated a few times before she quit. "Oh, isn't that sweet," I remember an aunt saying, "she's singing with Matthew". While she wasn't conscious that little bit was the final memory I had with my grandmother.
