My all time fav.
Marge: Have you noticed any change in Bart? Homer: New glasses? Marge: No...he looks like something might be disturbing him. Homer: Probably misses his old glasses. Marge: I guess we could get more involved in Bart's activities but then I'd be afraid of smothering him. Homer: Yeah, and then we'd get the chair. Marge: That's not what I meant. Homer: It was, Marge, admit it.

i love that one...i've always been fond of this one as well:
Marge: I'm worried about the kids, Homey. Lisa's becoming very obsessive. This morning I caught her trying to dissect her own raincoat. Homer: [scoffs] I know. And this perpetual motion machine she made today is a joke! It just keeps going faster and faster. Marge: And Bart isn't doing very well either. He needs boundaries and structure. There's something about flying a kite at night that's so unwholesome. [looks out window] Bart: [creepy voice] Hello, Mother dear. Marge: [closing the curtains] That's it: we have to get them back to school. Homer: I'm with you, Marge. Lisa! Get in here. [Lisa walks in, chuckling nervously] In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!

Homer:How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
Flanders: Welcome, neighbors. Since the police can't seem to get off their dufferoonies to do something about this burglarino, I think it's time we started our own neighborhood watch... eroony! [Everyone cheers] Now, who should lead the group? Man: You! Everyone: Yay! Flanders! Flanders! Flanders! Flanders: I don't really have very much experience, but I'll -- Moe: Someone else! Everyone: Yay! Someone else! Someone else! Someone else! Homer: I'm someone else. Lenny: He's right! Homer: We don't need a thinker. We need a doer: someone who'll act without considering the consequences. Everyone: Homer! Homer! Homer!

Bart: [after they watch a foreign film] I was so bored I cut the pony tail off the guy in front of us. [holds pony tail to his head] Bart: Look at me, I'm a grad student. I'm 30 years old and I made $600 last year. Marge: Bart, don't make fun of grad students. They've just made a terrible life choice.

Homer: Got any of that beer that has candy floating in it? You know, Skittlebrau? Apu: Such a beer does not exist, sir. I think you must have dreamed it. Homer: Oh. Well, then just give me a six-pack and a couple of bags of Skittles.
Bart: And I'll take up smoking and then give that up! Homer: Good work son, quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do. Here, have a dollar Lisa: But he didn't do anything! Homer: Didn't he Lisa, didn't he?
Everybody sits at a long table, eating some gruel and looking very tired.
Jane: Why isn't our low-protein gruel wearing down his resistance like all the others? Glen: It doesn't wear down your resistance if you eat a whole month's supply! He even ate mine!
Homer is eating low-protein gruel like there's no tomorrow.
Jane: Start a chant! Everybody loves a droning, repetetive chant. Glen: Attention, everybody. Let's all give thanks to the Leader for this glorious day! Both: The Leader is good, the Leader is great, we surrender our will as of this date! All: [Except Homer] The Leader is good, the Leader is great, we surrender our will as of this date! Jane: It's no use. He's obviously the most powerful mind we've ever dealt with! Glen: Or... nananananananana Leader! Nananananananana Leader! All: [Except Homer] Nananananananana Leader! Nananananananana Leader! [Homer starts gaining interest.] Leader! Leader! Leader!
think i've referenced these few in the past cople days.
Marge: See all that stuff in there, Homer? That's why your robot never worked
Marge : Homer, I don't want you driving around in a car you built yourself. Homer : Marge, you can stand there finding faults or you can knit me some seatbelts.
Lady: Some large men to see you, sir. Skinner: Uh, I don't have an appointment with any large men... Fat Tony: Are you Skinner? Skinner: I'm Principal Skinner, yes! And how may I ask did you get past the hall monitors? [permalink]

This is a wonderful line.
Man, this show used to be so good.
It really was, that is why it drives me apeshit to see abominations like that stupid 90s episode where they re-write the history thinking they are being clever and irreverent and going with the whole factually inaccurate schtick that made it so good back in the day but it's just, well, dumb. Every once in a while they do a good new episode and S19 had a good run of episodes but still nothing compared to their golden seasons (3-12 IMO).
On that note as well, I am watching S9 right now again and I know a lot of people think that 8 is the last good season, I shake my head at those people.
