Okay it is starting to bore me a little :?

I don't know I want to like this but 3 episodes in and it just isn't doing it for me. I don't want action but i want more points of interest. The story is not overly compelling for me right now.

I'll stick with it but I'm a bit worried.

I totes disagree. I'm loving this show. The characters are likeable and the story keeps me coming back.

I can't wait to see what happens when Jimmy hooks up with Capone in Chicago. I want to find out if Nucky might be Jimmy's father ... if he's trying to atone for his mistakes by taking such good care of Ms Schroeder. And I really like Doyle - I hope those Philly mobsters let him live for a while.

Fuckin outstanding show.

Series take about 4 or 5 episodes to really get going. Hang in there. Think this one will be good and be worth it.

Also, it's pretty amazing that deadwood doesn't get any love here. it's amazing.

I agree with this post. There is no "hook" yet in the show. The Sopranos got away with this because they had quickly established a complicated world in the which the characters could exist and that made the absence of a driving seasonal story arc OK.

This sounds exactly like Boardwalk Empire. :?

What would qualify as a "hook", exactly? Because the characters, the story and the production have me looking forward to next Sunday already.

Yeah, I'm totally hooked. I don't know what you guys are looking for, but for me this show already has it.

I agree with the criticism. I'll continue to watch it but this is nowhere on the level of The Wire, Deadwood, or The Sopranos.

I'm sticking with it. Definitely getting the sense that something is building. Of course you got that a lot with the Sopranos only for nothing to happen.
A lot more chick nudity in this than I was expecting.

THIS. I can't stand the guy, and try to avoid everything he is part of, but so far this is pretty good. Though I'm sure that eventually he is gonna appear on the show as *suprise suprise* tough guy mobster.

I doubt Marky Mark has anything to do with any of the actual writing of the show. Just because he's an exec producer doesn't mean he's super involved.

I thought this last week's episode was one of the more entertaining ones since the first one.
Loved the tension between Jimmy and Al as well as the interactio between Nucky & that girl (forget her name :( )

Jimmy's mom is a milf :D
