at the end when they show the previews for the next show they said - "on the next SEASON of AD...." so hopefully its not the end.

Yeah, I'm sure they themselves hope that there will be a next season, but it's not up to the writers of the show. They're still waiting to see if the show gets renewed.

What could they possibly put on in it's place? They already have to show a Simpson's rerun at 9pm. The Kelsey Grammer shit rightfully tanked. Is anyone watching King of the Hill or Malcolm in the Middle? People have started to say that Simpsons has jumped the shark. The only way they could cut AD out of Sundays is if they truly don't care if ANYONE watches their channel on Sundays.

Oh yeah, and Stacked is one really fucking bad show. I don't know if they're trying to make that stick on Sundays or not. Plus, they had to know that b/c their ads last week were saying "Premiers This Week," without ever telling you when to watch it. Not "Premiers Tuesday," not "Premiers Friday." Just "This Week." What a joke!

I'll die a hundred times if AD doesn't come back. Hands down the funniest show on TV, I've only missed 1 ep since it started. I agree about the Simpsons, it's becoming homeopathic. There's less FOX and more Simpsons every day. I know the syndications are different in different markets, but around here the Simpsons plays at least 3 times daily. They're really riding this pony to exhaustion, especially for a show that's available on DVD.

"Stacked" - agree 100%. I think the same people who told Pam she was attractive are the same ones that tell her she can act. Is there ANYONE in Hollywood that can see PAST a pair of inflated tits? Jesus on a Triscuit. How come I don't get to be rich and famous? At least my body is real, and I have less of a gut than ol Pammy.

NaiveAndTrue, why is it that every thread you've been in recently takes a turn toward discussing your boobs?

http://www.getarrested.com is announcing that the show will return this summer.

Could FOX be airing new episodes to get more people watching the show when most everything else is in reruns? It worked for 90210 after its first season was pretty low-rated. The OC had good ratings when it began in the summer of 2003 as well.

I have officially decided that this is the best show since The Simpsons.

It's definitely up there. It's certainly the best new show Fox has had since The Simpsons. Imagine, if they have a Simpsons, Arrested Development, Family Guy lineup. If that couldn't succeed I'd lose all faith in America's sense of humor.

I am still amazed at the comic genius that is Jason Bateman. Where the hell was he for so long?

The date of the article was November 10, 2004. Perhaps he was supposed to guest star this season and couldn't work it out.

well fox cut the order down to 18 episodes (from 22 or 24 maybe), he was probably going to be in one of the ones that got cut.

i watched most of season 1 yesterday, and a few from season 2 today. I'll be really bummed if this gets cancelled. most other boards aren't so optimistic about "returns this summer". it could just mean they're going to show season 2 again in a few months to see if people watch it. Once I hear that they're ordering new episodes, then we can all breathe easier.

I'm sure most of you have caught the email if you've read through this thread, but in case you missed it, here's an email address if you want to write to fox and let them know they need to bring the show back.
