Jan. 2011 update from Fall to Winter TV...
I thought that it would be a good idea to start looking at what's in store for Fall 2010 on TV; here's a network schedule I found on tvguide.com:

Please add more articles and your opinions....newspapers and magazines will really start to churn these out over the next few weeks.

We all have good taste around here, so let's try to keep the discussion around potential 5- and 4- star shows, rather than the crap, because there's far too much of it.

Let's not forget about cable, which offers a better lineup than the networks.....

Anyway, looking forward to "The Event" tonight on NBC. I've read mixed reviews, but I will give this a 4-5 episode chance.

I saw the pilot episode of the new "Hawaii Five-O" on a flight to Honolulu a few weeks ago. It was OK. I do think CBS might have sunk too much money into this one. I don't see a long future. I'll be curious to see the ratings after tonight.

okay, so i watched running wilde based purely on GOB... it wasnt good.
BUT.. one brilliant moment at the beginning
Narration: 'he was afraid he made a HUGE mistake'
Pause for effect
before he said something else... they knew what we all were hoping he would say. Awesome.

This has got to be the worst crop of new TV shows for a fall season....

The only show that is truly great is Boardwalk Empire....

Rubicon is good.

Am I missing something?

Law & Order Los Angeles was decent.

I got bored with Rubicon after about the fourth or fifth episode. Did it pick up or get any better? It looked to have potential but since I don't have much time for TV I don't have too much patience.

I caught an episode of Blue Bloods the other night, and I didn't think it was that bad. It beats the piss out of CSI anyways.
