Been looking forward to this one for a long damn time, ever since I first heard about it getting made, and then the 3 minute trailer of the pilot way back at the start of the summer.
Allison Janney is this boozer type (think Will & Grace's Karen, maybe, from the looks of it) that owns this sports arena, and Perry I guess is like the manager of it. But he helped write the pilot, he's an EP and they got the awesome Tommy Schlamme to direct.
This is a :30 spot if you don't wanna be quite so spoiled on the pilot.
And funny thing I notice is, the blond cutie that looks to be Perry's kinda love interest (Andrea Anders), that's pretty much the exact role she played back on Matt Leblanc's short lived Joey sitcom. Mostly I'm just encouraged to see they're starting it out with the post-Modern Family time slot, that should hopefully be a solid boost. Though I could've done without the a-little-too-on-the-nose "Walking On Sunshine" soundtrack for the preview

He was once in the same room as Matthew Perry, but pussed out and was afraid to talk to him. So, he gave his friend his cell phone and walked past him while his friend took a shot showing that they were both in the same room?
