Been looking forward to this one for what seems like forever (though fortunately not quite as long as that other perfectly ripe for Halloween flick "Trick'R Treat") trailer hit the web today.
A stranger gives you a box with a button inside. If you press the button, you get $1 million instantly, but also one random person elsewhere on the planet you don't know will die.
This is from a Richard Matheson short story and was already adapted for the 80's version of "The Twilight Zone" TV series.
(note: Kelly's movie takes place in the 80's, so the $1M bounty has quite the more potency than it would today, for sure)

I like Richard Matheson's work and Donnie Darko was decent, but this movie just looks really out there, in the sense that it walks on the line of idiocy. I may just be picky.

I want to see this. Is it 12/6 or 11/6?

Saw this the other night. It could have been a lil shorter and some shit needed to be explained a lil more. Also, there were numerous scenes that were in the trailer that didn't make it into the movie, which is surprising considering it's runtime.
Overall, it's a sci-fi flick, which is probably what turned alot of people off.
If you can, wait for it to get to the cheap theatres. It was good, but not 12$ good.
