i usually download the latest episode on monday but don't get around to watching it til much later in the week. i'm losing interest fast.

I just ordered showtime for dexter. The movie selection generally sucks. Even the softcore kinda sucks.

Yeah, that was pretty laughable. I only started watching during season 4, so I have no idea how good this show was from the get-go. I suppose 6 years is enough time for something to lose its luster.

Remove this entire season and insert the last 30 seconds of this episode onto last season and this show wouldn't be the colossal fuck-up it's become.

If the writers let Dexter off the hook at the beginning of next year I'm not even going to bother watching. The show could definitely get interesting again if Deb is in on the entire secret.

Well, technically it isn't incest, but, yeah. I think that was more to add tension than anything. Plus, it'll make for a very complicated dynamic going forward, especially since she knows his secret now. A season with Deb aware of Dexter's double life could be interesting.

As for the intern...not sure what is up there. I imagine they'll conclude that arc next season, but I have no idea what the point of his character is to this point.

This season was good, though Collin Hank's character got really cheesy. I think they need to bring in a big name/big villain next season. since they toned down the role of the 'lead killer' in this after lithgows performance, it was appropriate but the villains were not so good.

I like the fact that they are following the books a little bit more this season. not tottally, but they are going back and picking some things from the source material (the book dexter by design had an 'artist' killer that set up elaborate scenes like the DDK. and in one book, though much earlier, deb finds out about what dexter does. I can only imagine they will follow that and have her kinda go 'meh, your still my bro, high five on the awesome ko'
