It's been an inconsistent season so far but last night's wowed me. Maybe the best of series and one of the better episodes of any show I'd seen in a while. After a light opening it took a heavy, dark turn but for the better. Last year's run improved significantly in the second half, maybe Wifred's history will repeat this time around too.

the stronger episodes suggest Ryan's schizophrenic. If that's the case I wonder how the producers/writers will tread along without a) officially giving away their big reveal or b) diverting away from the whimiscal charm of the show? I like the more serious episodes like last night but that's not what the series is built on.
