I was an Oz fanatic as a kid. Of course, I liked the movie. I absolutely loved the original L. Frank Baum series of books. So, I certainly have a soft spot in my heart for Oz stuff. I was always wary of non-Baum Oz stuff, though. Even as a kid, I had no interest in any of the other authors who picked up where Baum left off when he died. And I never had the least bit of interest in the recent "Wicked" craze. I will keep an eye on this one.
