Anyone see this yet? I watched the first two episodes from On Demand last night, and it's pretty freakin' good. Scary, intense, creepy, weird, and slightly cheesy; it's quality television. Who knows how it will turn out, but after two shows, I'll be watching a third. It's really surprising some of this is on basic cable. Between curse words, jacking off, and violence, it's probably one of the craziest things I've ever seen that's not a movie, or on HBO / Showtime / etc...

I like it too. I would have thought the show would have created a little bit more of a buzz here.
One thing for me though is that it's been in dvr jail. I've been running 1-2 episodes behind so far. I've noticed when I watch on dvr I don't pay as close attention and find myself rewinding back a scene or two a couple times a show. Not just with this one either. For me it's easier to catch up with half hour comedies than hour dramas.
Or maybe it's just adult onset ADD.

I have all of these on DVR. Hypothetically, if I'm easily rattled by such things as (i) the supernatural, or (ii) possessions, is this something that I could watch alone at night in the comforts of my basement without getting completed freaked out? Hypothetically.

I would not encourage you to watch this if you are easily freaked out.

Definitely. It's freaking me out, and I have a high tolerance for scary. I mean, it's not like "OMG, I'm sooooo scared" or anything, but it's just enough suspense, creepiness, and weirdness, with a little dose of fright. If you're easily frightened, then this show should give you a good scare. I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far (watched Episode 3 last night).

Oh, if you're going to watch it via On Demand, Episode 1 is only available until 11/4 (at least here it is), so you best get on it.

Yea I'm just not sure on this one. It got the EW cover story last week, in their reader poll it's already been voted "creepiest TV show of all time" (X Files and Twilight Zone were next 2 closest) but for one when I first heard of it, I wasn't sure how it could be sustained for a TV series, especially network where you're talking 20+ eps a year, and last but not least a shit load of bad buzz I've heard from others who have checked it out.

I haven't heard any bad buzz, but then again, I rarely read reviews.

Who's talking shit about it? Like all the mainstream media outlets? I like it, and will continue to watch. I'm not sure if I agree that it's already the "creepiest of all time" or anything, but it's definitely up there. I'm kinda stumped as to why this would get bad reviews...It's certainly better than all the other new shows I've watched.

Oh, and the "young" maid...Holy fucking shit is she hot! That there is reason enough to watch it. The episode last night, she was on all fours in that hot ass maid outfit, and the camera got a beautiful shot of her ass. My god, I hope there is more of that.

4 & 5, are they the Halloween episodes? The first one was pretty fucked up but the second one, last night's, raised the bar. A couple reveals too that you may or may not have seen coming. It's probably too over the top for some tastes but I really liked it.
This show has a tangle of story threads going on and I'm glad I stuck with it after the first couple ones. They've got me interested in seeing what happens next.
