I love Bill Maher. I've never watched Real Time but I catch him whenever I can other places - such as his monthly (?) appearances on Larry King where he truly shines.

i enjoy the show in a lot of cases, however, the biggest problem i have is the crowd. Too often a good segment of debate will lose its momentum because the crowd has to stop and cheer.
I understand the need for a studio audience with a show attempting to do some element of stand up, but during the panel discussion, they need to shut the F up for the most part. We get it, you dont agree with the war in Iraq- you dont need to cheer anytime someone on the panel says it.

Didn't even know he was starting back up. I'm going to look for it on demand or tape it tonight and watch it. He really is one of the few entertainers that I really do respect and look up to. Thanks for the reminder.

HBO has been quite lame the past couple of months. I would probably cancel it too if it wasn't part of the package I get.

Extras, Real Time, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Six Feet Under....there's alot of good shit going on there Rantin'
I love those shows, but since SFU is done, Sopranos and Entourage on a break, Real Time on a break, Curb done and I have yet to watch Extras, it has been a slow couple of months. That being said, April is going to be amazing for HBO and I'm really excited.

Yes and on DVD... But it just seems that the movies that they are running in HD are a bit dissappointing and puzzling. I wish they had their on demand in HD. Oh well,,,, I am excited to DVR Bill Maher tonight. He makes me smile, think, and angry all at the same time.
