I like this show enough to keep watching but I can't explain why. I'm about 10 years older than the characters and largely cannot relate to them even if I recognize some of their qualities in the some of my girl friends. But can I ever picture myself hanging out with them and enjoying myself? Probably not.
Okay, awkward sex, that I can relate to.
Along those lines in my mind I totally believe that Adam was born someplace in the former Soviet Union. Or Eastern Europe at the very least.

So it turns out that NBC's Brian Williams' daughter is pretty hot.

It appears as though you really didn't, though. In fact, you just this very moment noted it's occurrence!

what a great first season. adam has become one of my favorite characters on tv. i really hope this show finds an audience large enough to justify the 3 or 4 seasons it deserves. i anticipate the second season as much as i anticipate the next season of game of thrones.

I've only seen one episode but I really liked it. It doesn't force the jokes on you and the characters are mostly realistic and enjoyable. Would definitely like to see more but I don't have HBO.

I actually wouldn't mind if this show disappeared or kept going. It isn't great tv, but it isn't bad either. I don't think it's that funny, but it is more or less a story I enjoy watching.

A ringing endorsement.

It wasn't meant to be.

Outstanding finale. Outstanding season. Easily the best new show of the 11-12 season. I'm completely in love with this thing. Can't wait for next season.

durden, can we have a conversation about differing viewpoints without feeling like we're attacking each other?

K, cool. What did you think was amazing about that finale? I thought it had a decent first season, but I felt like the finale was much ado about nothing aside from shoshana losing her vcard. That whole Jessa wedding to a guy that she loathed last time we saw him bothered me.
