I really liked the story in this flick. The acting left a lot to be desired but the story was top notch. Some good thrills.

Is the DVD any gorier than the theatrical version?

I hated the theatrical release but I could see a director's cut appealing to my tastes...

not sure ive never saw the theatrical..it was kinda nasty at parts tho..

story was one of the best ive watched in a while

Agreed. Elwes may not have been the best choice for that character, but I thought Saw was a terrific movie. Lion's Gate definitely keeps it real! 8)
