can't fucking waaaaaaaait for this movie.

This is like such a ridiculously awesome dream team of British character actors. And advanced word I've heard here and there is maybe this is where Oldman finally gets his oscar. Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberpatch, Toby Jones, Cirian Hinds, Mark Strong, John Hurt. are you kidding me?? :haha:

John le Carre wrote the spy novel from which it's based, Oldman's character of George Smiley is one that le Carre has used in a number of books. I actually have this particular story adapted as a radio play, I have a couple different Smiley character books as radio plays, I've already listened to one or two but I think I'm going to hold off on TTSS and see this film first.

This was really great, but I'm gonna have it watch it again.
Needs all your attention, not a good idea to try update your iphone while its on.
Still not sure if it was all flashbacks or not.

Very good. but very dense. the plot progresses at a very fast pace. And I need to see it again.

I think I liked it, still not totally sure. This is definitely a movie that requires your full attention or you'll get lost pretty quickly. I'll have to rewatch.

My thoughts too. It didn't help the sound was really low at the theatre I saw it at.
