"Film the Tao." - Terrence Malick

Tao Te Ching:

Existence is beyond the power of words to define:
Terms may be used
But are none of them absolute.
[...]
The core and the surface
Are essentially the same,
Words making them seem different
Only to express appearance.
If name be needed, wonder names them both:
From wonder into wonder
Existence opens.

Cast: Ben Affleck, Rachael McAdams, Javier Bardem, Barry Pepper, Rachel Weisz

Story: A romantic drama centered on a man who reconnects with a woman from his hometown after his marriage to a European woman falls apart.

I'm really pumped for all of Malick's upcoming projects. Huge McAdams fan. I think she's been so underutilized lately. It'll be nice to see what Malick can get out of her.

Can. Not. Wait.

Along with Paul Anderson's The Master, this is rumored to be at the Venice Film Festival (Aug 29th-Sept 8th).

Two Malick films in two years? Who would of thunk it?
