No, sir. I remember the media last year making asinine comments about his hair style ("he's obviously having a mid-life crisis").

Now tell him Jaws sucks!

I totally understand why Jaws is so highly regarded. Of course. But, in the interest of full disclosure - I think I'm close enough to most of you now to admit this - I don't think it's all that great. It's a fine movie. But it just doesn't do much for me.

I own it, and I watch it from time to time, mostly hoping it will click. For now, I'd rank it high among the most mediocre yet watchable movies I've seen.

Phew! That feels good to get off my chest. Thanks, guys!

And, yeah, I'm excited for Argo. I haven't seen any of Affleck's directorial efforts, but I'm super excited for this one.

I can't believe I'm racing out to see a Ben Affleck movie. What the hell's wrong with me?
There's no denying he's a talented director.

I think Gone Baby Gone confirmed his talent five years ago.

I loved "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town." It'll be interesting to see how he handles the wider scope of this movie.

The Town was directed well enough, it's just the writing that mucked it up for me.

Very well made. A little to hollywood for a true story, but that's to be expected. Meaning there were a lot of "Phew. That was close" moments.

Spoiler: show
The montage alternating between the Iranians holding press conferences and the fake script read through was terrific.
