I just got around to watching this today and I thought it was pretty decent. I'm definitely willing to give it another week or two to see how it progresses.
So is anyone else watching this? My wife and I have been hooked on it since the first episode. I think its a pretty damn good show. A lot of twists and turns and backstabbing.

It's not bad but I'm getting a little fed up with how they keep going through all this background story about the chick and her murdered fiance- it's not uninteresting, but it's taking a REALLY LONG TIME to get to the point of it all. If the entire first season is devoted to flashbacks and redundant story retelling I'm going to be sleeping through it by episode 7 or so.
I love this show so far. I love how the plot flows and just makes everyone seem like they think they know all the answers when no really does. It's like Lost had a baby with The Practice.
It blows my mind this show isn't more popular. It's only thing on TV right now the gf & I actually make time to watch instead of DVR'ing it. The plot is slow, but so well planned the twists are completely believable and almost inevitable when you think back over the previous episodes. It's not like Lost where they use the next three episodes to try and explain the last cliffhanger. Plus the acting is fantastic. Glenn Close was awesome in The Shield and is even better in this. Who said there aren't quality roles for women in their 50s+?
I thought the finale was pretty damn good and I'm ready for season 2. I'm curious to see how quickly Patti learns that Ellen is trying to play her or maybe she already knows. Are we to assume that Ted Danson's character is dead after they never went back to his empty field to show him?
"CULVER CITY AND EL SEGUNDO, CALIF., July 19, 2010 – DIRECTV and Sony Pictures Television will team up to bring the award-winning DAMAGES, starring Glenn Close and Rose Byrne, back with brand new episodes to be produced early next year and debuting exclusively on DIRECTV. Emmy winner Glenn Close, Emmy nominee Rose Byrne and other principal cast members will return for the new episodes.
Unlike DIRECTV’s current deal for Friday Night Lights, whereby the show airs first on DIRECTV and then on NBC, the new episodes of DAMAGES will air only on DIRECTV. Additionally, DIRECTV will have the rights to air previously produced seasons 1 through 3."
I won't give up FIOS, but I'm glad someone is taking a chance on this show. I can't help but think the Emmy noms for FNL helped this deal along.
