Skitch, when the opening sequence to ESPN's 30 for 30 series rolls, a lot of directors' names are panned across the screen. One of those directors is Barry Levinson.

My question to you is this: What title in that series did Levinson direct?

No idea, but if i had to guess, it would be which ever one related to Baltimore.

I care! I haven't watched Sundays episode yet, as it falls behind Boardwalk Empire and Treme in my viewing set list. I will likely watch it this evening. It will place above Dexter however. Man, my Sunday nights are about to be very crowded.

I'm getting impatient about the story line.

Well this is pretty much getting better with each passing episode. This past week was election day 1864. and the Irish were sending people in to vote repeatedly, and one of the fake names they used was "Tim Bayliss"

finally something interesting going on - but what's the big deal with the child/whore/child? I don't see anything interesting with her story line and am hoping they don't plan a climactic march/september whirlwind romance between her and corky. which would frankly be very *eww* inducing.

I highly doubt it. I think she exists to humanize Corky. She is almost a surrogate daughter for him, appealing to his sense of paternal obligation. She also brings conflict in, as Corky does seem to be more intent on protecting her, regardless of the negative impact on him (ie ruining his relationship with Mrs. Haverford).

Seriously though, TIM BAYLISS

I got the impression mrs. haverford was just playing out her own version of sluts in apartment complexes with corky- she's already moved onto his rich pal.

I didn't even catch the tim bayliss reference - but I'm not a big fan of Homicide: Life on the Street.
I feel I've failed you now

She only moved on from Corky because of his reaction to her sending Annie off.

There is only one way (Well two, but the second is highly unlikely) to make it up to me.

if they don't include tattoos or shooting heroin I may consent to your conditions...

also, you're right- haverford did get freaked at his reaction - and I do give her credit for her somewhat vindictive attitude towards her pedophile husband prior to his murder so

Well the conditions are.. watch Homicide. Season 1 is on Youtube in it's entirety.

I think Haverford (while not a great character) is successful in being what they want Margaret Schroder to be on boardwalk.
