alright, so this is weird, kinda of

I just woke up about 10 minutes ago. In the dream I had, I was watching a movie with some other people, and that was pretty much the dream. I started watching it like maybe 20 or so minutes into it, and I was like "Oh this movie, I've seen it once, it's great!"

So in this dream, we watched the movie...got relatively close to the end, but then stopped. I remember thinking "oh, this is a better movie than I remember, I can't wait to see the end!" but we didn't get there.

I have no idea what the movie was. As I've woken up I now only have a vague remembrance of the plot...but I'm convinced it was a real movie that I've seen before. In the dream the lead role was played by the one prisoner from the Green Mile, the guy with the mouse...imdb tells me his name is Michael Jeter. I've gone through his filmography though,and nothing has matched up.

before my recollection of this slips away let me try and type out what i remember of the plot.

the Michael Jeter character is the father / husband, and they have a few kids (don't remember how many). I want to say that he's somehow mixed up in something, where there's some people after them? I remember from the beginning that these thugs or whatever come and trash Michael Jeter's house or something..... I don't exactly remember what else happens, but from what I think I actually remember from the end of the movie (if it's a real movie and I've seen it), something really weird happens, like I think Michael Jeter's wife dies...whether it's at the hands of the thugs, I don't know... and somehow he's left as like, the only man on earth alive or something weird? It's like a twilight zone ending, kind of reminds me of Donnie Darko.... I want to say it somehow involves a rowboat...

This is really weird. If it's not a real movie and I dreamed it all up, I'm gonna have to turn this into a story of my own, somehow, if I can think up a real plot or whatever. But if this is a real movie, someone please tell me what it is

Actually, from the dream I remember looking at the DVD box and it said it was called Sounds... but I've searched for that and found nothing.

anyone else have any insight?
