Nice.
I'm not always an automatic fan of the gangster/crime genre films, but the cast is outstanding, and the trailer is really well done. I'll absolutely see this. This could be a gold mine for performances.

From what I hear it's quite the slow, dialogue driven movie. That's just fine by me. Anything to deceive and upset the average American movie going public.

not that great. I like the two dudes that hold the heist in the beginning of the film but they are not as much a part of it later on. pretty tweed IHRM stuff really.

yeah that was pretty good. did you like the assassination of jesse james?
Despite Jesse James being long-winded at times, it's one of my favorites of the last 10 years. Probably one of the better character driven dramas I've seen.

I'm going to go against you guys, because I thought it was really great. not very spoilery, but basically I say that the camerawork is playful and I like how it builds scenes:
I was really expecting the two guys at the start to fuck up the heist, either by shooting the wrong guy or by getting shot or whatever, and when they didn't I was really surprised. I loved how willing the movie was to slow down during its most intense scenes, and to look at how the social aspect of this little criminal world works. Maybe it was because of the triple (at least) overlap of actors, but it felt a little like a really great episode of The Sopranos.
