I do remember suggesting this a couple years ago (probably in a place it was ignored), and it may be too late to implement this, but:

What about a quick reply text box at the bottom of the page in threads?

There are no similies or any of the stuff above the normal "post a reply" page eg. YouTube, echo, Img etc.

and you'd have to still go to a separate page for those type of functions

but this way if all you have is text to reply with, it saves a lot of time not having to go to another page

honestly, I don't think I noticed it was that high...I don't remember ever seeing anybody's post count higher than something in the 40 k's....how many would you say you had in 2010, pete? over 20k?

I just think it's kind of strange when someone with a ridiculous amount of posts points out that I have a ridiculous amounts of posts.
