This is my new music project. I'm going to write and record a song each week of 2010. I may record a cover each month, I haven't decided on the rules entirely. I put up an instrumental I recorded a week ago. Check it out.

False Starts is really cool, kind of anthemic. the distorted keyboard's sound reminds me of the organ at the beginning of One of my Turns with added distortion. keep up the good stuff

No one Hears The Harper is really great. That was a great payoff in the end with the full band sound. Nice variety of different sounds on each piece of music too.
How's that plan to record a song a week coming along? Stuff sounds good.

im' glad you like it... so far its going well, last week i wrote the song with words, but my performance didn't do it justice so i had to make an instrumental version. i'm working on this weeks tonight.

I'm a bomb in your mailbox, but you never come home, its not your home anymore. I feel diffused, and surrounded by policemen. They want to talk to you, tell the truth, that i'm not a threat.
I've been a scissor taken apart. No, I couldn't cut in with the dancers there. I was muscle car, that was stripped for parts. And left on blocks, in a neighborhood, where i don't belong.
i'm going it alone, breaking all the bones, breaking all the binds, that have kept me in place running into walls, taking all the falls, leaving things behind, to let you know i was there if you come across a grail i left behind on the trail i don't need it anymore i've thrown away yesterday i've carried it to long, when it's gone, it is gone.
I've been struggling student. I've been hard on myself. Though I pass the tests. I'm a telescope, who sees the past. A million years ago, that light was born, and it came here to die.

I was just an anarchist, free to roam, but still fenced in by the chain linked inside my head. I carried no moss upon my back, held the guns but kept no rack, i waited for my shot.
but i get over optimistic, forget, my sail on the shore it's a matter of time till, i am on the ocean floor
the pilots rained out of the sky, the passengers were left to fly, in the belly of a brainless bird The stewardess addressed them all, "It's time to go, we're free to fall." and jumped right out the plane.
but i get over-optimistic when i jump out of my plane i'm fall faster, and i hope i never land again
we don't fly, we're tossed into the sky.
"this idiot i have been," i dedicate this song to him, and i hope he likes the tune you can only hold the gun so long, before you unleash the bullets song, and fire straight into the air
i get over optimistic, i'll trade, the ocean for the sky it's no safer, its just the only way to fly .
so i cast my anchors to the side, got some wings and learned to fly, and carried you on my back a pilot is a great disguise, a perfect way to reign the skies, until you crash to the ground.
