A Moment of Bizarre
She casted me out like a Sunday without churches to pray
The winds just called for me to cry in a corner
The heart begged me into a fracas with some fools in the fields
All the water has been drunk straight from iguanas
And still there's a hope that she might get me away from the pestilence
I still feel as if the dog-gone cat has been rabid
Rabbits tear at the seams
My voice was scratching
The euphoria pollution sets in
You were the heartbreaker to us all and now I'm convinced that God loves me
Castigating the indiscreet with a silver tongue
Fornicators, every one of them!
God unleashed me to just zip my mouth right up
Because it's a waste of time to say anything else
You love them all and wish them well, as do I
Still I feel that she walked away for nothing
Didn't give me a chance to give her something
A heartbeat, a true embrace
The foolish moments where I can say I'm sorry
The time has slipped away like a heavy bottle of bleach does from a thin plastic bag
All these things will soon be forgotten.
