OK, So I have to pick nine of these pictures to print, frame and display in a local coffe shop as an "artist of the month" feature.
I have my favorites, but I would like some unbiast opinions.
Alot of them are rather alike. You won't get away with more than two kitty pics. Definitely the tight closeup and maybe the one behind the chair, it was a good grab. Any cellphone snaper could've taken the rest.
Go with the blue/orange sunset and the lightening bolt. Try burning-in the trees and ground on that one really black and see how it contrasts to the brightness of the bolt.
A red filter on the first wooden walkway pic?
The waterfall shows nice shutter work, but really needs cropped.
Try portrait and odd angles.
Be gutsy with your cuts:
I would pick the nine most diverse photo's that you've got up there. I would definitely go for the lightning. The entire body of work though is quite solid.

Great photos..
My choices would be:
The first photo... for sure.. & the two photos at the end of the second row.. definately the photo (looks like a weeping willow) on the 4th row.. these photos are more calming.. & would reflect the ambience of a coffee shop...
& personally.. overall.. black & white photos have a more classic feel.. & would suit a more upper scale coffee shop (if that is what you are aiming for)...
but then again.. i just re-read your post.. 'artist of the month' i was suggesting in terms of something more permanent.. oh well.. *smiles*
