What do I see in me?

I see resemblance of my lost father
in eyes attempting to avoid an invitation
to the obviously lost world
of my imagination

that needs to be found
and to be my active personality
i could find help in others
and through others who are lost, I'd be happy

I see hair that may be thinning
and compulsive, obsessive eyes searching
for errors and flaws that may exist
in a stoical face so tense

Afraid that
in the endless potential of life
apart of me has chosen death
Emptiness

But beyond it all is a soul
in an everlasting, neverending dimension
I am found.
And everything here, good and bad, stays

Viewed from another perspective
Just a life
It comes and goes
-Neither Full, Nor Empty
