Its raining outside, & right as I turned out my living room lights for the night, I looked out my front window and had to take a pic of the scene. This is what I snapped.

Thanks. If I ever put out a record, I'm going to incorporate that pic in the art work somewhere.

Feedback is welcomed, but what exactly are you getting at? Do you like it; not like it?

I'm pretty sure that I hate it.

Nick Demarco, "If I think Dr. Suess is art, then it's fucking art damnit."

Why am I being so mean? I don't know why. I apologize for this being mean. But I really am frustrated by these dark and lowlight shots that seem to have zero meaning behind them.

LW, If you hate it thats cool. But, just food for thought, who ever said art had to have "meaning" behind it? The only thought that went into the pic was that I looked out my window and thought it looked interesting. And, even more meaningless, the resulting shot from the pic I snappped doesn't really look like what I was seeing with the naked eye. But, when I uploaded it I found that it was pretty cool looking all the same. The whole process took about 3 min and even less thought. So it's not something that I had to soul search about before shooting, it just presented itself. And I think the end result is kind of artistic.

There's a red light in your district.

well the only positive thing i can think of is that art is essentially subjective.

I agree on the point that art doesnt have to have a meaning. that painting of the soup can by Warhol inspired some wild ideas of its inspiration, but when they asked him, he said he couldnt think of anyhting so he just painted the first thing he saw.

I dont like the pic though. it looks like you dropped it while the shutter was open.

Yep.
Looks cool to me. Not all photos have to transcend the meaning of life, looking cool is just fine.
