It has lots of gorillas and monkeys. Some Apes. A few baboons. Lots of manure on the grass. Always smells bad there. Head Zookeepers an idiot, he keeps buying more monkey's when he already has plenty. Likes to feed them steroids too. More money than sense I think. The majority of people that visit this zoo resemble early man, with knuckles dragging on the ground. Theres a few clowns amongst them too. Should make for interesting photos.

this one was particularly active today, the people said. i took a few shots then just watched and enjoyed. it's tough actually enjoying the animals when you spend your time taking photos.
but yes, he was awesome.
actually, i posted only one grizzly bear, but there were 4. and two got in a yelling match. maybe i'll post the pics that don't show it, but show the bears later. one bear was following another around, so the one turns around, stands up and roars. so the other returns roar. then another return. and the follower put his head down, went to the other side of the area and sat down against a tree looking all dejected.

Here's a cool polar bear picture:
Cool story too. It's at the San Diego Zoo and a tour guide of a tour I was standing next to said that the tower in the back was the number 1 most photographed building in the city. So I decided to hop on that bandwagon and was waiting for a shot when the polar bear there would lift up its head so the pic would look cool. It was a cool picture that I was about to snap, but just before I pushed the button, the huge tour bus pulls up and parks right in the middle of the shot. So now instead of a cool picture, I get a funny story.
