i'm bored and jobless right now, heres a song i wrote a month or so ago then quickly messed with it today. my guitar strings are so rusty and need replacing badly. I can't really sing and this is way sloppy, not that i care about slopiness really.

i had to download this cause you are such a sales man... but i half to say pretty good for being just a sloppy little recording... your voice kinda sounds like mark linkous from sparklehorse which i was just listening to before i listened to your song

good work

okay that was interesting. I like the beginning of the chord progression, but it's getting too... boring towards the end. the idea for the vocal melody is pretty good, but apparently you didn't care about the intonation and it's getting a bit rushed in the last two lines or so... I really didn't get too much of the lyrics. I'll give it another listen.
Oh yeah and it's probably a bit too high for you, I don't know. You might wanna try singing a bit more in a lower register.

there is something about this song i really like....just can't put my finger on it yet

I Got Memories was right, there is a huge Bright Eyes influence in here...and it's almost like Rilo Kiley too (with the chord progressions)

i think you should have stuck with the main riff (at the beginning) for a little while longer...you sort of changed it up in the end and i think you had some good harmony going earlier in the song....

you also may want to try and tune your guitar down a half step, or even a full step, and try singing from your chest instead of your head...

musician to musician....good job man, i really liked it

thanks for the respones guys. i'm kind of suprised with the bright eyes comments because i've heard mabye two bright eyes songs ever so wouldn't really know if there is a resemblence. I'd agree with the singing thing for the most part, trying to work on it for this song and others.
