As always, I love all your work: it makes me want to go there, despite the poverty.
First four are great. Fifth one seems sort of cliched, but its still a great picture. The sixth does nothing for me but is a cool shot, and I like the seventh. The eighth is probably the weakest of the bunch. There's a lot kind of crowded into the background, and I don't like the way its centered.
But top notch stuff regardless. Really, you have an eye.

Oh, you think I'm being douchey? Well I shall have to re-examine everything then. Thanks brah.
I agree, the eigth is definitely the weakest of the bunch. I fought with cropping it. I just like her expression and the blue. Never really thought about the background being distracting though. I kinda just threw that one in there.

LW, what kind of camera are you using? Just wondering.

Unfortunately, it's so elementary, and the big time investors behind the drive in the stock market aren't so stupid. This isn't the false economy of 2000.
I am presently shooting with a Canon Powershot S80. It's...about as good as you're going to get with a stealthy point and shoot. There's no image stabilization or anything that you may find in the more bulky Canon G7, but I really like it. Best $500 I've ever spent.
I am presently getting ready to upgradee to a Canon Xti 400D and about $1500 worth of glass. I think I've come to the point where I won't be wasting the investment.
