Today is my grandma's 87th birthday! She is an amazing woman who has seen more change in her lifetime, than I think most of us ever will. She is the most down to earth, realistic, warm, loving human being I have ever met. She loves everyone "as is". She's my favorite, and Cam's hers. I've never seen her look more beautiful than this. The way she looks at him. This is love.



I just wanted to honor her today.

my great grandma lived to be 88 and was pretty much self dependent up until the very end. (she still needed people to give her a ride to the grocery store and whatnot but as far as cooking for herself/etc she did it better than most people her age)

My grandma lights up the same way seeing her great-granddaughter, it's great to see.

My other grandma didn't live to see her unfortunately, though she did get to see 6 great-grand kids in her time. She made it to 96 I can't even grasp the changes she saw in her time.
