Some lyrics I wrote a little over a year ago. Hope you guys like it, but even if you don't let me know what you think.

Love, hate, anger, pain
Seems to be brought by the rain
Generosity starts to eat itself
The more we understand
The less we know ourselves
So here we stand
Naked and true
Testing the limits of what
We thought we knew

Sure there’s a joke here
You, me, and all that scares
Wonder who wrote the punch line
Wasn’t me
Can’t take the punch and feel fine
Maybe you
Cause you hit me hard
Didn’t seem to mind

I hit back after I was bruised
Doesn’t help if I feel used
Walk that line, no wrong motive
Fine with your sweet emotion
Must be wrong
Guess I want more
Tell me what I want
You know my mind more than I
Though I’ve known me my entire life

Now, here we stand
Naked and true
Testing the limits of what
We thought we knew

Take a little rain
Be stronger in the end

im really starting to dig this release forum. i just kind of discovered it recently.

kelly, another pretty one here! i like the second verse because it feels very familiar to something im going through right now (the same girl who inspired that first thing i posted).

it makes you wonder how someone can deal so much pain, and either be oblivious to it.... or even worse, know how much they hurt you and be indifferent to it.

I'm sorry you are going through that. I still feel what I'm going through, and by not talking to the guy and clearing up stuff for myself I still feel bad. I don't understand how a friend can be like that whether oblivious, which I doubt, or indifferent enough to let a friend hurt. :?

Thanks for reading it. I'm glad you like it! :)
