Karma blue
All around you
Losing here, gaining there
You have become the most untrue
Karma blue
Reaching back to you
I here, “what goes around comes aroundâ€
Couldn’t be more true
Karma blue
I have lost my muse
Once a fountain of words
I now say few
Eyes wide open like a new born child
I now shut them tight just to make it through
Ears open to every sound
I want to hear the music of the profound
Karma blue forever
Lonely steps on the sidewalk
Echoing words every time I talk
The world is so massive
It’s just more time to be passive
Karma blue
I have lost my muse
Once a fountain of words
I now say few
Oh, karma blue
I feel it
Don’t you to?
Karma blue

At first I was unsure but I ended up kinda liking it. Care to explain what it's all supposed to mean exactly? Like I think I understood the majority of it but I feel like I'm missing a part of the whole piece.

I'm glad you ended up liking it mostly. Thanks for reading too. I must ask what you think it means? It means something a little more personal to me, but it's also in the more abstract sense. And I allow people to have their own feelings and interpretations.

Woah, this reads and flows really well...Considering how personal this piece is to you, i'm quite weary of slamming down what i think it means, but i kinda got the impression you were toying with the idea of substitution and replacement...and all with a sense of vulnerability. There's some sort of betrayal involved, or a misguided placement of trust in someone or something, perhaps?
This line was particularly striking to me, though:
"Eyes wide open like a new born child"
That line seemed to speak in volumes about the excitement of seeing and feeling things for the first time, and then the follow up line showed how you can't be naive to the initial beauty of things? Or something along those lines,...as i said, I don't want to be dictating what you're trying to say, all i know is that the piece had 'feeling' in it, and i dig that

Thanks a lot! And I love your interpretation. You've basically hit the nail on the head. The betrayal and misguided trust is exactly right. Also, I'm glad you like that line so much. I felt showing the fading of trust or naivete seems to happen due to others, the world, etc. making us jaded. Which one is better you know?
Again, thanks for the post.
