Across the ocean
With the breeze
His head and eyes face
Into dreams of harmony, his music, realizations
Of love, happiness, a peace sign
an oblvious, loving hippie makes
the one the average soldier here hates
He sighs and looks the other way
Back toward the scorching sun
Into the swirling sand and breeze
Toward the plane of happiness, love, and peace
Which awaits
with a warm smile on its cartoonish, tie-dyed face

this is my favorite piece of the last month or so. at the moment, time constraints will not allow me to elaborate further. just wanted to let you know i really love this little diddy.
