“More please.” “I’m taking it all.” I hope you go to hell…” “I want you.” “I love my eyes and lips.” “I’ll find it later.” “I wish I was her…"
An average sized woman walked on the sidewalk of a small, quiet town. Her legs carried her quickly with the determination for a destination. Thick hands were shoved into the pockets of her jeans while her shoulders slumped forward, drawn downward. Eyes of golden-brown burned with a hidden, suppressed rage. Behind the ravenous anger though, there was a bitter sadness of being betrayed.
However, the fury was overwhelming, too overwhelming to be reasoned with. There was no regret with this feeling inside. As a matter of fact, she enjoyed it. She relished in this powerful feeling, this feeling that made her confidence soar with the might boiling in her blood. She was almost there now, moments away. This was it, and a smirked danced across her lips.
I love this empowering feeling, she thought menacingly as she opened the door to her boyfriend’s apartment, having the key they’d exchanged as a ‘symbol of their trust and commitment.’
He was there, sitting in a worn out, red, leather arm chair, a large book in his hands and a single light on the end table next to him. It was the only light in the room. He looked up, curiously, and studied her contorted face and enraged, burning eyes.
“You bastard!” she spat.
Rising from his chair, he removed his reading glasses and placed them and the book on the end table. “What’s wrong?” he asked with worry, taking a few steps toward her. She instantly stepped back, her hands going up and telling him not to come near her. He stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes narrowed with concern and bewilderment.
“They told me,” she started, her heart pounding hard in her chest. “They told me everything… about you and Clair.”
Blinking a few times, he recoiled, truly confused. “Clair?” he echoed. “What about Clair?”
“Don’t play dumb with me!” she warned with a shout. “They told me what you two did!”
“I would never!” he cried, his own anger rising that he was being accused of something so sickening to him. She didn’t listen though. She couldn’t. The rage had clouded her ears and mind. There was no reasoning with her. She’d made her decision before she even knew it. Reaching into her coat pocket, she revealed a black pistol, the metal gleaming in the dim light. His eyes widened and he felt his heart stop. “What are you doing?” he demanded, his entire body tensing.
She raised the gun and pointed it at him. “Stop!” he cried, putting his hands up. “You have to listen to me! I love you! I would never betray you!”
She didn’t hear him. “I hope you go to hell…” Her finger started to tighten around the trigger, its sensitivity setting it off. He cried out, frightened and he instinctively closed his eyes and brought his hands to his face. When he didn’t feel any pain, he opened his eyes only to see his girlfriend dead on the ground with her face a bloody mess. The bullet had exploded inside the gun, and sent everything back at her.
She hadn’t screamed.
“I hope you go to hell…”

I can SO kill you in literature! Such a sweet victory.
humph. And me, unarmed. I can killed you back in essays, but that would only be metaphorical. In literature, you could have my blood drip down the steps, pooling at the bottom. Cats would find it first, and lick.
OH GAWD. I've just foreseen my death on your computer.

And thanks. I was trying to make him seem real.
He was. She was OTT but how else could one write her and keep it so brief? You'd have to use quick terse sentences. She's hard to explain. Maybe you need to delve into the mind of the sociopath.
I'm not accepting any calls. Please don't call me for delving. : P,
