thanks Self-Polluted! i like this kind of song by song breakdown thing! and your comments are very positive - which doesn't hurt at all. feel free to make constructive crictism though - some songs there (musicwebtown) are barely demoed.
Ya, I did keep it positive, kinda testing the waters to see what people want. I will feel free to make constructive crictism, if I can offer any, in the future.

Why did Le Livre make you want to do a shot of tequila??
The progression had a kinda spanish guitar feel, to my ears.

I really like both especially the PJ-esque one.
thanks! by the way, it looks like the songs won't load everytime you click on them - if anybody experiences problems getting them to load here, please follow this link: http://www.musicwebtown.com/mastaflatch

so a friend of mine went to a highschool concert yesterday night and he told me that some kids covered "magnetisme" i really hope someone filmed it and plans to put it on on youtube. i'm seriously shocked; i never even thought this could happen.

uhm... quoi? I missed this thread? I know I've said it before, but I really really love you're guys' music. I need to thoroughly read this thread... seeing those live videos made me jealous, both of you guys playing live and the people that were in attendance.

i dig it particularly that transitional passage around 52 seconds in. I like the verse a lot, reminds me of my favorite elements of french music. also one day i will film your band better.

thanks for your comments
yeah Danny, i must admit that this filming sucks but it was made by my daughter's bro and he's just beginning to film stuff with his new camera. plus, it was the first song of the night so he was getting to grips with a few things i guess. i thought it was cool that he did it but the resolution that her mother sent me was tiny so it came off all blurry when converted on youtube. that being said, can't wait for you to come up here and make a doc on "quebec's least popular band"

Hey that was fucking awesome! And not awesome in that I-like-you-as-a-person-so-I'm-being-condescending-towards-your-measly-efforts way, but like I-like-it-because-it's-equal-parts-country-backbeat-demented-demented-vaudeville-rocking-glissando-free-Kurt-Weill-ish-omg-I-would-totally-buy-your-album awesome!

also from august 21st - it was our first gig with a new guitarist and the guy's awesome. we only had time to run through the setlist with him once before the show so here's how two of the songs turned out: Pudpain:
