Where the hell did that come from? First of all your voice sounds about 100% better than I've ever heard you...the song was pretty darn cool too...is it new? Why didn't you use it during the original contest? I can't get over how much better your voice sounded...this style of music fits your voice much better than the rockers...I think you have the same problem I do which is your voice fits a style of music that maybe isn't your favorite...I'd rather belt out like Axl but I'm better suited for Jeff Tweedy...bummer...

Good work man.

The vocal performance definitely came out of left field...you did really well. Your chord progressions were also quite tasty.

I'm sorry I've missed so much lately. I barely heard any of the Originals Contest, and it makes me feel like punching babies. Hopefully in the near future I can get some of my own stuff to share with you guys.

I agree about the singing. Very good. And the music was nice. :nice:

thanks guys. i htink i'm starting to find my voice (no pun intended) on music where i want to sing as well as play guitar. i think it's a small window but as i slowly develope my voice into something worth listening to i gain the confidence to increase my range. maybe one day i'll be able to wail rock songs like i wish i could. but for now it seems these kinds of acoustic tunes are better suited for my voice. thanks for the kind words, hopefully more people check this out and chime in.

you said to be harsh, and i like to be as honest as possible ( though no one replies to my stuff  )

anyways i like the descending guitar part going in to the chorus and the i miss those friends of mine line. and the first i'm on my way at end sounded nice. otherwise i thought the end was kind of lame. and the rest of the song while nothing bad was nothing great. too many waiting kills for me. but keep it up, i'd like to hear more.

yea i'll be the first to admit i didn't think/flesh it out too much. the ending was the first thing i came up with when jamming on it initially. if i was to put a full band behind it i would probably add a solo-y guitar at the end and flesh out the bridge. don't know but thanks for the kind words.
