There lives a demon inside me.
He rants and he wails and he shrieks and he roars and he howls and he screams -

And then...
He sleeps.
For months
On end.

Words; His Release.

But the words won’t fit.
The words.

WORDS!
WON’T!
FIT!!!

How do I let him, how? how

How do I let him OUT??

When I can’t find the words?
When I can’t release him?
When I can’t clear space and make sense and be fluid
And release him
How?

How do I exorcise, exercise
My demon?

Really loved the passion in this one...the frenzied style really gave the piece the right feel. Also, i'm not sure if i should have, but i found humour in it..it made me smile....good stuff =)

i really enjoyed this, and i know how you (or the speaker, if its not you) feel. iceagecoming really nailed it on the head when he said it had a frenzied style... you can tell the person is going crazy. my favorite part is the 'words wont fit' part. thats where the frustration seems to really take hold and shake the person around by their neck.
