I posted this in GD originally, but i feel it is more appropriate here...Also I would like to turn into a thread where i can post some embarassingly bad recordings from my high school band days...so feel free to bash away, i'm fully aware of the quality of the music . My friends and i were post-pubescent teens with way too much free time and bad senses of humour.
I'll upload more as time goes by....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Release 1: The Oh Fuck I'm A Slut Sessions

Both of these songs were recorded with 1 guitar plugged directly into a 4 track recorder...with myself and 2 of my friends "singing" into a toy microphone that changes your voice into a wide range of styles ranging from chipmunk voice to deep chipmunk voice. As far as i can tell most of the screaming vocals are mine, anything else belongs to one of my friends.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Release 2: The untitled, lyricless song

This was actually an attempt at a serious song which we recorded, but i never got around to writing lyrics for it (i'm lazy like that). It actually saw a live (albeit vocal-less) debut at a high school assembly.
It was recorded as a band, using 1 mic for drums and another for guitar/bass.

dammit your a slave driver! Next time i record something i'll pm you...actually that might be a good idea for tonight :D

And yeah we always had a blast playing and recording. Our only goal was fucking around. Our "sound" ranged from Deftonesy punk/metal to avante-garde noise like these 2 tracks.

yeah. that's fun. I remember doing that with a friend, and we used different recording speeds and such nonsense. Great fun. I wish I still had those.
