whoa! you've got a really keen eye! i visited your photoblog a week or so ago and i'm impressed! keep posting them!
Thank you! I will need some new opportunities to get going again. I mostly love to take pictures while travelling and havent done that in a while. And still need to scan in some slides. I usually work with slide-film because of the FANTASTIC colors and depth you get. Too bad you lose most depth and color when you digitalize them. I am not so fond of digital photography...but hee what can you do
I am now trying out video as well, but am still at the very very beginning. Will show you some of that when I feel its worth it.

do you shoot in RAW?
Hmmm, no in jpeg I think. Mostly highest quality. But nothing will get close to a projected slide imo!! Lots of people discussed it with me until they saw my slides...
The digital cameras will get there no doubt and probably the most expensive ones are already close.

I'm sure the slides are better, however, if you want to shoot with a DSLR in the future without losing "most depth and color when you digitalize them" then you should read up on RAW files. the data is uncompressed, lossless and printable. the camera doesn't process the image, the computer software does. photoshop will open a RAW file. Aperture might also. not sure. In photoshop the file can still be edited before it's even processed without losing an data. i think Nikon cameras call them NEFs. anyway, just something to think about. again, great images.

*blushing*
Thanks you guys!! I should do it more I reckon, but its just for fun so dont have much incentive to work on them more. Although you might just have given me some incentive
What was the second one you wanted to show SmilinSkullRing?
And the one you are showing Demetrios was made with burned slides. I made it years ago when I was still studying at the art academy. I found them a while ago and was stunned by them myself actually...haha.
So are there pics on my website that you guys dont like at all...?! Good to get some critism too, helps to get me better and improve my website too!
