Have any of the photographers here messed around with HDR Imaging? I tried it a few times in Photoshop HDR merge, but they didn't come out that great. Anyway, I found out that you can download a free trial version of photomatix, which works much better. The only difference is that it leaves a photomatix watermark on your image. Here is a building of one of the cottages where I work, I cloned out the watermaks. |

nice pictures, I've not tried HDR Imaging yet, I'm still getting used to my camera, I'll definitely be giving it a go in the not too distant future |

definitely download the trial version of photomatix when you do. It's really amazing what you can do. But it does border the line of pure art photography vs. digitally enhanced images. |

This is about the only HDR thing I ever did. No special scripts or programs, just using basic functions in photoshop like contrast, saturation, and shadows. Click on it and open it up, it'll look a lot better. |

I think the other manual way is to set all the shots into different layers and mask the best exposure from each one. Either way, too much work for me. Where is that picture taken? |

That's Nashville. I fiddled with one the other night. You gotta screw with the shadows and highlights too to get it to come out alright. I wasn't fully satisfied with my final product on what I worked on last night though. I might fiddle a little bit tonight too. |

Whenever I look at this one, the Air Wolf theme plays in my head. This is at a sport's complex near me where I watch sunsets. Ogunquit, ME. I played with the saturation a bit in photoshop. |

I finally found a photo where the Orton Effect seems to work well. Took some time to get the proper shadow/highlights adjusted but I think I finally got it. |
