sun comes up, and i wake to greet it
i walk about, im part of it
and it may have happened without me
but not in exactly this way

sun comes up, i shielded my eyes from it
i turn away, block the glare
and i wish it would ignore me
but thats not really its way

sun comes up, but this time i missed it
alone, though i try not to care
please.. no longer consider me
just pretend that im not there

I like the second verse. The "I wish it would ignore me" line is powerful, and I understand it quite well.

yeah that 2nd verse is really good and the 3rd one ends in a way that seems very familiar... I think I can indentify with the mindframe that was written in and... well I just like it.
