I'm currently working on a batch of 3/4, Beirut-style songs with some friends who play accordian, clarinet, brass and bass. This is a (very poor quality) acoustic demo of a song I've just finished. If it ends up being used it'll have a clarinet playing a lead melody over the chordal middle section, and will play out the end part for a few more cycles.

Curious for any kind of feedback and criticism on this song..

The recording is really hard to hear, but I love the song. The lyrics are beautiful man...really sad in the end. Reminds me of the movie Before Sunrise. It all has a feeling of nostalgia to it. Love it. Great work.

i like the somber mood of the music. the vocals in spots are too hurried. slow them down or omit some lyrics. i too pictured a distant past being recalled.
