So I lost stuff. This is no loss to the arts, but I wish I'd had some wisdom and saved some of it. All that's left is the front page, and hundreds of my incomprehensible, multi-thought-threaded, "what the fuck is she saying" posts are gone. I salvaged a few poems from the front page. These aren't worth publishing and aren't up to par with those who write here, but wtf... I feel armored with the immunity of time.

On A Good Day

On a good day she's misunderstood
On a good day she has to explain

~ White is Yellow
~ Green is Orange
~ This is how the colors run

On a good day, there are many words

On a bad day, anger flashes
black to blue, white skin turns to color
Split lips turn a wordy defense
into red sprays of incoherent cries
The Red beats Beast into Bull
and drunk with the orange flame,
there are no mistakes

It was a bad day,
and thick with reds
she just wished to be misunderstood

2006

Really sad to hear of your blog loss.

But, thank goodness you salvaged these...This poem is great. Your imagery is powerful...this particularly hit me:

And that carried until the end. Along with your other piece I was pretty taken aback...
I had no idea...

thanks. this isn't that good a poem and took about uh... 10 minutes maybe.

i have a ton of bad poetry and i won't post it. i think... i don't know why i posted this really. maybe because i looked for the blog, saw it was gone and used the archive to find it.

oh well. i had a number of subscribers back when i was active. i got a lot of hits from the outside... maybe from around here, i don't know. it was a deeply self involved blog about introspective uh, meaningless hmmm... plays on words and ideas. it was rather egotistical and bizarre.

in other words, it was bullshit. bullshit with readers.
