I just love it! Nice to see you doing silverwork, Michelle. Post any new stuff you finish in this thread!

Your sister does silverwork too? Nice!

It's an expensive venture, but very gratifying. Check out this site:

There's a forum there. Great place to get answers to any questions you may have. Also a great place to get inspired with new techniques.

Why are the edges rusty?

Post subject:  Re: Silver linings

Sterling doesn't rust. It oxidizes. Cleans up nice with a little rub here and there.

The little twirly things around the colored circle looks rusty.

They're made from a gold alloy.

Listen, can this just be the official px and rick buddy buddy thread?

You're starting to exhibit a twinge of jealousy, Peter. I'll sell you a piece of jewelry for your mom too, if you would like.

I've always been internet friends with Shawna, but now that I've met her in real life, I think I can call her a IRL friend.

If I ever meet you Peter, the postings we have together after the meetup will look just the same as what's been happening between me and Shawna. I just feel once I meet some in real life I feel like I can see their posting character a little clearer.

Sorry I guess I'll just stick to PMs when interacting with friends on a message board, if I have something that needs to said to the group I'll post on the internet.

I can't help it that I got to meet you, Rick, before Peter did.

In other news: bracelet number 2 was epic fail. I have to melt it all down again and start from scratch.

My mom saw the disaster that had occurred and called me a "Kamikaze."

Michelle, that's so great! I love it!

Fimo to make your mold. :nice: Must have taken a long time to carve that. It came out absolutely fantastic.
