In this state it's illegal to drive without insurance. Isn't it like that everywhere??
Well, if he's such a safe driver ... he won't get pulled over. Admitting you need proof of insurance in case you get pulled over, is admitting that you speed. Thus, you're an insurance risk.

I've never been pulled over, but I needed proof of insurance when I was rear ended, In a chain reaction accident that STOPPED at me because I was the only person driving at a safe distance behind the car in front of them. So, it had nothing to do with my driving abilities.
Oh, and the police set up DUI blocks around here all the time, where they pull over everyone, no matter how they drive.

There was nothing I could do. There's only 2 lanes, I was in the left, people were merging off of an onramp in the right lane. 5pm traffic. Because of the ramp, everyone slows down. I slow down. Girl behind me slows down. Girl behind her slows down. Old man doesn't slow down, hits the second girl at 70 mph. Knocking her into girl one and her into me. Had I gunned it forward, I would have hit the person in front of me. Gone left, totaled my car on the concrete barrier. Right, into other traffic.
