The board dynamics of those times just couldn't be beat.

I think they're the moments we're all hoping to recapture.

i was not part of furious! i returned to RM around that time though, recognizing that the furious! members were lost sheep in need of a shepherd to lead them back home.

I swear I recall you being there? An imposter, perhaps?

haha, i hope so.

Spike was never a member, but in a way, he was responsible for it: Mickey (under the screenname Winter's Love) had been banned from RM, and washing machine had made a thread to keep GD updated on the latest Mickey news. On a whim, Spike made a post in said thread that changed everything: a simple "RIP". Reid and I played along, and so did tryinmorning. Eventually, several GD denizens were under the impression that Mickey had actually died from a brain aneurysm. When this was found to be false, several RMers were banned, and it sparked quite an outrage. Furious! was the short-lived sojourn of those banned posters, as well as other accepted members of the GD community joining us in solidarity. We occupied and re-branded an abandoned message board that washing machine had started for his friends called "The Wolfpack". We named it "Furious!", in honor of one of RM's greatest moments. It was a fun time, though plagued with in-fighting and turmoil, but it died out due to the incredibly slow loading time that we started experiencing after our first month there (it was a free message board). There was an even shorter-lived follow-up initiative, Furious! II, started by px when RM was experiencing issues... but it was pretty lame.

that's impressive RM recall right there

I'm surprised by how much I remember.

things started out so promising for us, jorge. what happened?
