This happens a lot when discussing soccer with fellow american fans. There is always someone who refers to a pass as "cheeky" ect.

You say something is "the dog's bollocks" if it's really, seriously awesome.

A lot of us just shorten it to "the dog's" as everyone knows what the other word is.

I have no idea why "the dog's bollocks" are supposed to be a good thing, but I suppose they are very useful and a source of great pride for the dog.
